Tonight we sat on one friend's back porch and surrounded another friend whose eleven year old son has been diagnosed with type one diabetes. We reminded each other of truth in the midst of pain, confusion, and sorrow.
In different years, different ones of us have sat in the center of the circle. These same girls surrounded me when we walked through the confusion surrounding international adoption.
I pray that my children will find friends who will walk through life in truth with them.
Thank you, God, for godly friends.
