Experimenting with glamour (or getting ready for Halloween...our first costume catalogue came in the mail today, August 6)
After a trip to the gym and a trip to the library, what's a house full of kids to do for the afternoon?
Eat the alphabet after arranging the Jr. Scrabble Cheezits in order.
Making the gooey goop that someone got as a birthday or Christmas gift and that was still in the closet unopened.
Trying to have a puppet show, complete with admission tickets and an intermission for a popsicle break. The biggest challenge was keeping our puppet theater from imploding, so B and a neighbor helped out by sitting in the balcony seats.
Glow-in-the-dark nerf battles. Why do they not grow weary of this?
Repurposing the imploded puppet theater as a cozy reading nook for the stack of books obtained earlier from the library.
Pop popcorn. Label all the bowls to see who actually remembers to put their own things away.
Half the kids watching a movie from the library. The other half happier with something saved from the DVR.
Talking to Dad and finding Texas on the map.
Wondering what we will come up with tomorrow.
