Beach Week 2016

We like to walk on the beach at night when it's cooler and watch the stars come out
Mimi likes to cook around the clock to feed our beach hungry. Wish I did.
The beach is the one place I know where my man will unwind, even for a few hours. I love to see him in a lounge chair (just as he loves to see me hustle and get things done).

I loved being able to steal a few hours with my man- trying out a new diner for breakfast, renting bikes for a ride on the beach, and floating down a lazy river
We spent one day in Orlando at Discovery Cove and Sea World
I am fascinated by God's creativity!
We tried to explain that snorkeling at Discovery Cove is like swimming in an aquarium. They'll never see so many neat rays and fish in the wild. It was our favorite part of the park.
My time in a lounge chair is spent in the shade under a big umbrella with a peach tea and a book.
Andy made multiple trips to the pier and back running and walking with the kids to combat our tradition of eating ice cream
Beloved electronics
Still love to play in the sand

Different directions

Will ventured out on his first sleep-away camp without us at Camp Gravatt. Mary Jayne enjoyed Pine Cove's Camp in the City at Shandon. Counselors Liz, Kayleigh, and Caroline camped out with us.
Andy tried his hand at fly fishing on a work trip to Montana
Waiting for the cross country team to get back from practice or waiting for doctor's appointments
Keeping one out, and keeping one in- nose prints and fingerprints show where these friends gathered
Sharing a rainbow moment with my son and some Panda Express with my girls

Celebrating, Remembering, Worshiping, and Feathering my Nest

Fresh peaches from Monetta- discovering that I have an oral allergy to many delicious fresh fruits gave us "reason" to try them cooked in a cobbler. (Still itchy, but worth the Benadryl!)

Tea and a wildberry scone from Panera- enjoying all the scrumptious freebies that come during birthday month, a few nibbles at a time
Trying to comfort in moments of distress- hoping some of this counsel sticks

Communicating across one thousand miles to support a friend who lost her dad to cancer, and hosting a memorial gathering here for Aunt Debbie

Hosting a summer Bible Study for women at our church of various ages on alternate days with the study for teen girls. Thankful that we could build a house to accommodate groups of people.

Worship Week 2016- Moses argues with God

Haircut day and the girls running around like crazies gathering Pokemon in the beauty shop

Bringing food over to the family of beautiful twin babies

Mimi's amazing handiwork- Thankful for her as I am decidedly un-handy. We had someone in this week to fix the sprinklers that Della dug up, someone else to repair the toilet seal that sprung a leak, and someone to fix our cars.
