1. The scent of honeysuckle on an evening stroll before it gets too hot and humid

2. Walking the dog around the neighborhood with A after supper

3. Browsing consignment shops with Mom

4. Freshly groomed doggie- no more swamp-muck smell after that frolick in the lake

5. A beautiful violin duet winning two superior medals

6. Paddleboarding with Della- serene until getting buzzed by an unnamed family member on a jetski

7. Days when the sound system works- delighting in feeling like I am doing what I am supposed to be
    doing

8. Perusing L's yearbook the first day it comes out- rejoicing that she was chosen to be co-editor next
    year

9. A coming home after being out of town again- snatching moments when we can

10. More glitter nails

11. Listening quietly to a new story in the car- some sense of unity and solidarity between the kids

12. Orchids as wedding flowers- being able to travel to Florida to celebrate with extended family

23. Waiting for another friend to have her first baby- it's a boy!

24. Walking with a friend and sharing the mom-life and any combined knowledge we may have

25. Lavendar soap, lavendar body butter, feeling clean

26. Fingernail polish with really good coverage in one coat

27. Watching a musical with really good choreography and dancing

28. Extended family sitting on the porch enjoying Memorial Day together

Della gets so excited when she gets to come to the lake too. She loves being near people.
