Grace Upon Grace in February 2018

1. Medical attention during flu season

2. Job shadowing day (and a break from routine for the kids)

3. Daughters who like to bake things for me to take to Sunday School functions

4. Days when I am not grumpy and the kids don't fight

5. Being "on the property" - everyone at home at the same time, even if we are doing different things

6. Listening to B practice "The Swan" for his upcoming recital

7. L joining us on an early morning gym date

8. Listening to a district honor's orchestra rehearsal as both B and L participate

9. A surprise display of affection from my pilates class

10. Watching Della swim and romp and run ecstatically through the fields

11. Going to Valentine's dinner with my man, even if we're seated next to a flurry of daddy-daughter dance dates, enormous traffic and wind up at the ice cream parlor with the blinking neon lights for dessert

12. Dishonesty exposed (again) so that character can be formed (and reformed)

13. Bath products that make bathing feel like spa time

14. Shared wisdom

15. Andy bringing the girls red roses and me orange tulips

16. Makeup tutorial sessions from my twelve-year-old

17. Prayers and cough drops for soliders (being thankful that two sugar-free honey lemon cough drops is not what we generally consider a luxury)

18. Walking on the beach

19. Mom helping L decide on a prom dress

20. L and N launch Northeast Disciples at RNE- first meeting is well-attended

21. Communication between parents and teenagers- learning how to explain what we need- A being able to help L with her math paper (thankful that I don't have to write a math paper)

22. Audition completed

23. Epsom salts and hot baths-soaking bliss

24. Friends who say "come over for coffee". Admiring someone's antiques collected from junk sales in Europe.

25. Watching Della rush madly into the lake, swimming her labrador heart out

26. A praying over us before we sleep

27. Hearty breakfast before the ACT.

28. Forgiveness and restoration. Safe travels.
